What a cookie is

Where this site stands today

This site sets no cookies at all. It has no analytics, no forms, no social media buttons and no embedded third-party content. Fonts, video and images are served from the site's own server, so browsing here generates no requests to outside servers.

For that reason no consent panel is shown: there would be nothing to consent to. When the full website adds analytics or advertising, a panel will appear so you can decide, and your choice will be stored in your own browser.

Categories foreseen

When the full website is published, the following categories may be used. None of them is active today:

• Technical (necessary). They allow the site to work and remember your cookie choice. They require no consent.
• Analytics. They measure visits and page views in aggregate. They are only activated with your permission.
• Advertising. They allow ads tailored to your interests to be shown. They are only activated with your permission.

Changing your choice

Once a consent panel exists, you will be able to review or change your choice at any time from the Cookies link in the footer. Refusing will be as easy as accepting, and will not restrict access to any content.

You can also delete or block cookies from your browser settings. See the help pages for Chrome, Firefox, Safari or Edge, whichever you use.
